Free visual inspection and a written scope of work before any mitigation begins - photos, moisture readings, and drying logs go in your claim file
The scope we write is the scope we bill. Anything new gets shown to you, in writing, before we touch it.
Meet the Bothell Team Behind DryMark Restoration Bothell
We’re the crew that shows up at 2 a.m. when a supply line lets go in Canyon Park, or on a Sunday when a water heater fails in Thrashers Corner. Every person on this page has passed a background check, wears a uniform with a name tag, and carries a license number you can verify. What ties us together isn’t a handbook. It’s The Haven Standard, and the fact that none of us can stand watching a homeowner get blindsided by a bill.
Our People
Alicia Brennan, Owner
I started DryMark Restoration Bothell in 2011 after six years as a claims adjuster. The job taught me one thing: most homeowners lose money not because their policy is bad, but because the documentation is. A drying log with missing psychrometric data, meaning the temperature, relative humidity, and specific humidity readings that prove the equipment actually worked, gets an invoice denied every time. I built this company around fixing that gap. The Haven Standard started as a checklist I wrote on a clipboard. Now it’s a signed warranty on every job. I still review every photo record before it goes to an adjuster. If your drywall sounds hollow when you knock, that’s not an architectural feature. I’ll tell you straight what it costs to fix it, and I’ll put that number in writing before anyone starts work. Haven Standard, Clause 1.
Marcus T., Lead Water Technician
Marcus has been running mitigation crews for nine years, the last four with us in Bothell. He’s IICRC-certified in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD), which means he can read a vapor pressure differential, the force that actually moves moisture out of wet materials, and explain why your oak floor needs a different drying strategy than your neighbor’s pine. Marcus grew up in Mill Creek and still lives there with two dogs who have no respect for his schedule. He keeps a spare dehumidifier in his truck because, in his words, “the Phoenix 200 MAX doesn’t care if it’s my day off.”
Jenny K., Senior Installer / Reconstruction Lead
Jenny handles the rebuild phase after we’ve dried the structure, which is where most restoration companies either disappear or hand you off to a contractor you’ve never met. She’s been finishing restoration jobs start-to-finish for seven years, with a specialty in matching existing trim and texture in older Bothell homes, the kind built in the 1970s and 80s that have plaster finishes you can’t replicate with a spray can from a hardware store. Jenny is certified in lead-safe renovation and carries a sharp eye for the code quirks in King and Snohomish counties, where permit requirements for wall assemblies can differ block by block. She rebuilds guitars in her spare time. Says it trains her to spot a seam that isn’t flush.
David R., Service Coordinator
David is the voice you hear when you call (425) 696-6061 at 3 a.m. He’s been dispatching crews for five years and has a map of Bothell’s flood-prone intersections memorized, including the stretch of 228th Street SE that backs up every heavy rain and the Canyon Park basements that take water when the storm drains surcharge. David coordinates directly with insurance adjusters, which means he’s the one sending your photo record and written scope to the person who approves the check. He was born in Everett, lives in Kenmore now, and has a spreadsheet ranking every pho restaurant within 15 miles of our warehouse. He will defend his top pick with data.
Elena V., Apprentice Technician
Elena joined us last year after completing a construction technology program at Edmonds College. She’s working toward her IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and currently runs the moisture mapping on most jobs, which means she’s the one crawling into crawl spaces with a pinless moisture meter to find the perimeter of water migration, the hidden boundary where wet materials meet dry ones. Elena grew up in a house near North Creek that flooded twice, so she has firsthand experience with the smell of wet insulation and the relief of seeing a drying log that actually proves the wall is dry. She asks more questions than anyone on the crew. We encourage it.
One Standard, Every Job

Every person on this page works under The Haven Standard, which is not a slogan. It’s a set of clauses we sign. Haven Standard, Clause 1: a written price before any work starts, with no exceptions. That means Marcus can’t start extracting water until you’ve seen the number. Jenny can’t remove drywall until you’ve approved the scope. David can’t schedule a crew without confirming you’ve received the estimate. Elena can’t set a single air mover without documentation. The 365-Day Done Right Promise applies to all of us. If it’s not done right, we make it right, and that guarantee is stamped on every job, not mentioned in a phone call and forgotten. We are independently owned and operated, not part of any franchise system. Alicia reviews every file. The photo record from your job is yours. The drying log is yours. The written scope is yours. We keep copies because adjusters ask for them, but the documentation belongs to the homeowner. That’s the standard. That’s the job.
